Qualifying Test: Mammogram

The mammogram I did for my qualifying tests was also my first.  The test is basically a form of X-Ray, where your breast tissue is squeezed between two imaging plates and then scanned.  The primary discomfort associated with this test is the squeezing pressure, although some patients might also experience a component of anxiety caused by a sense of emotional vulnerability.  I’m big breasted, but I’m assuming this test might actually be more irritating to a smaller busted woman.


The total test time should take somewhere between five and ten minutes per breast – most medical personnel running these tests are fast and efficient.  There are no pre-test prep instructions.
