Pre-Transplant: Plerixafor

Plerixafor is another drug that helps stimulate the growth of stem cells.  After you’ve had four injections of G-CSF you will begin the Plerixafor.  These two injections will be done about six hours apart daily for three days.


As with the G-CSF, these injections will be administered to your donor if you have one.
