Transplant Centers

Transplant centers are often affiliated with major medical research universities.  The two biggest ones in the United States are the Fred Hutchinson Center in Seattle, and the MD Anderson Center in Houston.  My transplant was done through the Arizona Cancer Center, and the team was headed by Dr. Andrew Yeager.  Neal Bohnsack was my pre-transplant Coordinator, and provided major input to me for this blog as well.  My Oncologist, Dr. Christopher DiSimone, also played a key and role in my treatment while I was in Arizona.  Dr. Avanti Mehrotra is my Oncologist in Minnesota, at the Humphrey Cancer Center.
